#MyMommyMoments are little snippets of my life as a Mommy. They are typically status updates on Facebook or I tweet them out. That are often an "oh, mom" moment or a precious memory or photograph I wish to bottle up forever. They are moments to short to actually blog about, but #MyMommyMoments that I love to treasure and share.
(I have actually been shouting out this hashtag for a while now, but I just started documenting it on the blog)

Is there anything more precious & tearful than these lyrics coming out of your five year old daughter's mouth? #MyMommyMoments

Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name

How often do you receive a call from a teacher because of good grades or behavior? Well, this Moma just got that call. I really must commend Mrs. Ingle the 6th grade Spanish teacher at Centennial for going the extra effort and yes I am extremely proud of my son for having 102%!!! #MyMommyMoments #ProudBAMommy

Miss K: I got in trouble at school once when I was 3 for flippin' someone off.

Me: While driving her to school, WHAT?!? What do you mean. Show me.

Miss K: Proceeds to put to fingers together and FLICK/thump herself in the head.

Me: Thinking to myself, grateful for her innocence still and very thankful I didn't put the car in ditch like 3 others have on our road this weekend. And yes, I told her never to do that or say it again. #MyMommyMoments

It feels like a perfect night to dress up like HAMSTERS. And make fun of our exes, ah ah, ah ah. It feels like a perfect night for breakfast at midnight...

Miss K's version of Taylor Swift's "22" at age 6, she told me hamsters made more sense because she had no idea what a hipster was. #MyMommyMoments

Miss K: Moma, where is the Confusion?
Me: What?
Miss K: The Confusion. You know, the stuff you put in my water bottle to help make my tangles go away.

Guess I better check the Infusium bottle and make sure I truly am not adding confusion to her head and more to my household accidentally. #MyMommyMoments

If you saw my post yesterday you saw me in a red apron. I had it laying in the chair when Miss K got home last night, she told me it was the coolest cape ever. In a way, she's totally right. ‪#‎MyMommyMoments‬ ‪#‎the4crows‬

What is it about my kids getting to visit the principal's office in 1st grade? Wait a second, I think that I may have been sent also during my 1st grade year. Let me just ask my favorite 1st grade teacher. Rose Lack Chaney do you remember? I know what I got into trouble for, but don't remember the consequences. ‪#‎1stGradeGrowingPains‬ ‪#‎MyMommyMoments‬‪#‎SchoolisAlmostOut‬ ‪#‎LessonLearned‬

I wonder how much longer this is going to last. What does she want? What has she done? Who is this child?

For the past week Miss K has been very curious about her bloodlines. And of course I have no idea what to tell the girl. So she pretty much just figured it out on her own just now- "I'm half country and half city, because Moma is from the country and Daddy is from the city."

If only it were that simple.
